Tatijana Vukovic

—

Tatijana has Australian roots yet grew up in Brampton. She has developed an appreciation for both urban and natural landscapes, inspiring her pursuit of landscape architecture and subsequent degrees from Guelph. She combines her passion for visual arts with a love of creating places that bring communities together.

With experience as an illustrator, designer and educator, Tatijana excels at communicating ideas through both technical drawings and visual representations. As a sessional instructor (Guelph), she continues to teach digital drafting (AutoCAD) to undergraduate students; this sharing of her technical knowledge often refines her approach to her own design work. Her

sought-after renderings help clients and communities share the potential of a project, creating valuable resources to support promotion, engagement, funding success, and future implementation.

Streetscape design, plant inventorying and documentation, park facility feasibility and design, wayfinding strategies, and the preparation of visual graphics to represent various projects, are common to Tatijana’s pl.ural work activities. She enjoys transforming technical concepts into engaging visual materials, whether through landscape renderings, public engagement displays, and/or report graphics; heightening understanding of the possibilities pl.ural creates for a community’s public spaces.

Key projects for Tatijana include the Midland Splash Pad Feasibility Study and Construction, Haldimand Street Tree Design, and North Grenville Wayfinding Strategy.

Tatijana’s most favourite aspect of working at pl.ural is bringing ideas to life through graphic interpretations during the early concept stages and then seeing those visions become reality through subsequent construction. Outside the studio, Tatijana enjoys mindful walks through her neighbourhood, discovering new coffee shops, and illustrative arts.
