Kelsey Moore

Kelsey grew up in Orillia, Ontario, and joined pl.ural while completing her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Guelph. As a member of the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA), she combines her multidisciplinary design background with a passion for creating places for people to enjoy nature and their local communities.

With more than a decade spent developing her expertise across photography, graphic design, visual communications, and landscape architecture, Kelsey brings a unique perspective to every pl.ural project. Before pursing landscape architecture, she earned diplomas in Photography and Graphic Design from Georgian College, building a strong foundation in visual storytelling, composition, and graphic communication. Her experience working on a horticulture team strengthened her understanding planting design and maintaining outdoor spaces.

Kelsey’s work at pl.ural spans community identity development, wayfinding and environmental design, parks and public spaces, and the preparation of engaging planning and design documents. She enjoys using design to tell a story, whether through public spaces, interpretive experiences, or strategies that empower clients to implement their vision for their communities.

Key projects for Kelsey include the Red Rock Community Interpretation Plan, the Howick Walking Trail Signage Strategy, and the Selkirk Waterfront Way Parkette Design.

One of Kelsey’s favourite aspects of working at pl.ural is discovering new and underrated small towns throughout Ontario. Outside the studio, she enjoys a good nature walk while taking photos, golfing, and watercolour painting.
